To say the Xbox One started off the wrong foot would be an understatement, but despite still being outsold by the PS4 nearly 2 to 1, Microsoft’s home console keeps on fighting the good fight with a growing list of AAA titles.
The Xbox One’s marketing tagline for 2015 was “the greatest games lineup in Xbox history”, a statement that seems to have been delivered upon in a lot of people’s minds. Microsoft promises an even bigger year in 2016, calling 2015 “just the beginning” in a new promotional video.
In the trailer, which starts off by giving accolades to Rise of the Tomb Raider, Halo 5, and Forza Motorsport 6, among others, the tech giant boasts that the Xbox One is “the only system with every top ten best-selling console game.”
It then switches to the games we can expect in 2016, including Quantum Break
, Tom Clancy’s The Division
, Mirror’s Edge Catalyst
, Sea of Thieves
, and Halo Wars 2
, once again referring to the lineup as the greatest in Xbox history.
2016 definitely looks like a great year for those who own an Xbox One, but it remains to be seen if it will be the best in Xbox’s short history. Watch the trailer and let us know what you think in the comments below...
