Microsoft has announced the new games that Xbox Live Gold members will be able to get for free in August 2015 with the Xbox Live Games with Gold program, and they include Metal Gear Solid V and Metro.
In the long-running debate about which service provides players with better games -- Xbox’s Games with Gold or Sony’s PlayStation Plus -- PS+ has more often than not come out on top. However, if the latest offering are anything to go by, Microsoft is pushing to close the perceived gap.

With the Xbox One, Xbox Live subscribes subscribers will be able to download and play Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes throughout the month of August, followed by How to Survive: Storm Warning Edition from August 16th to September 15th.
As for the Xbox 360, Xbox Live Gold members get two classic first-person shooter -- Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light. They will be staggered, with Metro 2033 being available from August 1st to the 15th, and Last Light from the 16th to the 31st.
The addition of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes in particular will go a long way to appease those who have been clamoring for more AAA-style games from Xbox Live Games with Gold program, while the Metro games are icing on the cake with their great gameplay and unique world and atmosphere.
