When you hear the phrase "Metal Gear Collection", what comes to mind? A collection of past Metal Gear Solid games for steam? Or perhaps enhanced versions of those game for the Xbox One and PS4? Well, that's all wishful thinking, because Metal Gear Collection 2014 has nothing to do with actual gaming -- it's a new clothing line! If you're disappointed or feel trolled, know that you're not alone. But if you were dying for Metal Gear Solid-inspired clothes, then Kojima has pretty much answered your prayers. The Metal Gear Collection 2014 consists of an assortment of jackets, shirts, shoes, accessories and other items for both men and women. Sticking with the stealth theme of the franchise, the entire line has a camouflage vibe going on, with each item embroidered with the Foxhound logo and/or the Metal Gear Solid V name. Does that make you feel better? In addition to the clothing line, Kojima used the Tokyo Motor Show to unveil a new Metal Gear Solid 5 edition PS4 console, Snake figurine and MGS phone case, all in an effort to promote Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain and to raise revenues. Being a successful developer doesn't come cheap, you know. Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain will be released sometime in 2015, with reports indicating March 17th to be the exact date.
