In addition to announcing that there will be no major Assassin’s Creed game for 2016, Ubisoft revealed that Watch Dogs 2 will release before April 2017.
Watch Dogs 2
has been rumored to be under developed for quite some time now, and now we have confirmation. The first game sold more than 9 million copies and creative director Jonathan Morin has been vocal about what he would like to do with the franchise next.
Ubisoft also said it would launch "a new high-potential AAA brand with strong digital live services" in the same time period, though it didn’t provide any details on the project.
Even with Watch Dogs 2
not coming out in 2016, the French publisher still has a handful of blockbuster titles slated that should keep gamers busy until it releases, including open-world shooter The Division
and Far Cry Primal
What improvements do you want made to the second Watch Dogs?
