Developer Naughty Dog used Paris Games Week to finally release a trailer for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’s much-anticipated, action-packed multiplayer mode, and boy does it look it fun.
From the frantic team-based combat to the swashbuckling sense of adventure characteristic of the Uncharted franchise, there seems to be a lot to love. Would you call yourself an Uncharted fan, and are you looking forward to the madness?
In addition to the trailer, Naughty Dog shared some details about Uncharted 4
’s online multiplayer’s gameplay elements:
Sidekicks: When in a tough spot, you can call in your friendly Sidekick to help you out. These are unique, AI-controlled characters that come equipped with special abilities that can help turn the tide of a battle.
Mysticals: These are super natural abilities from the Uncharted series that give a player unique powers, several of which were shown in the trailer. Can you spot them?
Grappling Hook: Can be used in a number of locations on multiplayer maps and in melee, allowing players to land on people and take them out.
While the single-player mode of Uncharted 4 runs in 1080p and at 30fps, multiplayer runs at a smoother 900p / 60fps.
