Shown above is the official logo for the upcoming Warcraft movie, which was revealed by Legendary Pictures at Comic-Con 2014. The metallic texture hasn’t gone over well with some Warcraft fans, who argue it strays too far from Warcraft’s typically untampered style and resembles the StarCraft logo a bit too much. What do you think? Set well before the events of Warcraft 3 and World of Warcraft, Warcraft the film is an origin story of the initial encounters between the humans and the orcs, placing an emphasis on both the Alliance's and Horde's sides of their conflict. Moviegoers can expect to see characters such as Horde Chieftain Durotan and the Paladin Anduin Lothar, as well as many of the locations established in the video game series. Even though there will be heavy use of CGI to make the world appear as authentic as possible, all characters will be portrayed by real actors, including Ben Foster, Travis Fimmel, and Paula Patton. Warcraft is slated to hit in theaters on March 11, 2016.
