In celebration of Naughty Dog’s 30-year anniversary, Uncharted 4 designer Kurt Margenau has released a photo of series protagonist Nathan Drake that depicts the character’s in-game appearance. As the image below clearly shows, Nathan Drake looks a bit older than in the previous Uncharted games, and that’s because Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End takes place several years after the events of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. Let us know what you think about his transformation: According to the synopsis, fortune hunter Drake comes out of retirement to pursue a historical conspiracy behind a legendary pirate treasure. It is his greatest adventure yet, testing both his physical and emotional limits, and ultimately what he is willing to sacrifice in order to save the ones he loves. Directed by Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley, the masterminds behind The Last of Us, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is a PlayStation 4-exclusive, third-person action-adventure shooter game slated for a 2015 release. It is the fourth game in the Uncharted series and the first to be released on a next-gen console.
