World of Warcraft Subscribers Drop Significantly

At Gamescom 2015, Blizzard announced that the number of World of Warcraft subscribers has drop to 5.6 million, the lowest in quite a while. That’s a whopping 1.5 million lower than the 7.1 million people who were subscribed just a few months prior, which itself was a steep drop from the 10.5 million subscribers following the launch of the World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor expansion back in November 2014.
