Resident Evil 7 is written by non-other than Richard Pearsey, the creative mind behind the Spec-Ops: The Line and F.E.A.R.’s stories. Having confirmed his involvement in the game on his Twitter account, Pearsey is the first Westerner to be lead writer for a major Resident Evil game. He tweeted: “This has been quite a trip. At the PlayStation E3 2016 conference, Capcom showed off the first ever trailer for Resident Evil 7, ab installment that takes the horror series back to its roots.
