Having announced that Street Fighter 5 will be released only on the PlayStation 4 and PC (there will be no Xbox One version), Capcom has now revealed that its new fighting game runs on the Unreal Engine 4, which is without a doubt one of the best game engines currently available. “Our goal with the next generation of Street Fighter is to take our beloved fighting game franchise and bring it to our fans in the best way possible,” Game Producer Bochan Kim said in a press statement. “In order to fully deliver on that promise, we know we have to incorporate the latest and greatest technology available, which is why we partnered with Epic Games to power Street Fighter V using Unreal Engine 4.” MUST WATCH: Charlie Revealed in New Street Fighter 5 Gameplay Video In fact, Capcom is working with Unreal Engine 4 creator Epic Games on Street Fighter 5 to ensure the game comes out swinging and kicking harder than any Street Fighter before it.
