Batman: Arkham Knight has received an official trailer, and it’s as well-directed as a trailer gets. Titled “Gotham is Mine,” it shows the game’s main antagonist, Scarecrow, threaten to overthrow batman with a motley crew of the most infamous villains in Gotham City. Two-Face, The Penguin, the Riddler, Harley Quinn, and Poison Ivy all seem to want a piece of the Arkham Knight. Poison Ivy narrates the first part of the trailer, explaining that Scarecrow got the villainous crew together with a promise of taking down Batman and sharing the spoils of Gotham City between themselves. “Over my dead body,” Batman asserted, to which Poison Ivy responded “I believe that was the idea.” MUST READ: Is Superman In Batman: Arkham Knight? The rest of the video is of a monologue by Scarecrow asserting that the remaining criminals of Gotham City will be free to run amok, while the city’s authorities “will not be spared.” He even taunts Batman by saying that he has already won: “When the dawn comes, when Gotham lies in ruin and I turn my gaze to the world beyond, the legend of the Batman will be worth nothing at all.” Watch the full trailer: [youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ax2edKdZRxg&w=700&h=394] Batman: Arkham Knight will be available on the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 starting June 2, 2015.
