Rock Band 4

Developer Harmonix has completely confirmed that Rock Band 4 will be backwards compatible with your old instruments and songs, potentially saving you a lot of money.

There was much speculation about Rock Band 4 being backwards compatible, but now they can all stop. Rock Band 4’s backwards compatibility only works on the same console family, meaning PS3 instruments only work on the PS4, while Xbox 360 instruments are compatible exclusively with the Xbox One. DON'T MISS: These Are Rock Band 4’s First 6 Tracks Of 2015 Considering that the Rock Band 4 bundle costs around $250, there is money to be saved for those that have old instruments collecting dust. Harmonix also confirmed that you will be able to add all of your old DLC songs to Rock Band 4’s library, allowing you to sing your favorite tunes without having to spend more money. After all, who doesn’t like to save money? You gotta love backwards compatibility... Will you be buying Rock Band 4 with all the money you will save when it releases on October 6th, 2015, for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4?
