Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls developer Quantic Dreams has announced yet another exclusive new game series for the PlayStation -- Detroit: Become Human.
The renowned developer’s latest project revolves around a young, twenty-something android woman, who in Detroit: Become Human
’s reveal trailer is shown being created. We also see her in the midst of a sci-fi, protest-heavy downtown Detroit, where she seems to come to the realization that she might be different from her robotic peers.
In the game, Detroit has been nicknamed ‘Android City’ and is apparently in turmoil, as evidenced by heavy protesting from humans who feel that humanoid androids should be limited their capabilities or not exist at all. That’s to say, gamers who end up playing Detroit: Become Human
could look forward to the ever-so-popular sci-fi theme of humans vs machines, particularly the former’s fear that they may one day be replaced by the latter.
If the non-cinematic trailer is anything to go by, Quantic Dream’s Detroit: Become Human
has the potential to be something truly special on the PlayStation 4. What kind of game do you expect it to be?
