Video game developer Visceral is working on a new Star Wars game, and it will supposedly be like Uncharted in space.
During a Q&A session at MetroCon 2015
, renowned voice actor Nolan North not only talked about his role as Nathan Drake in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
mostly, but also about the Star Wars game
Visceral is working on.
He revealed that Amy Hennig, the main story writer for the Uncharted series
, has left Naughty Dog and is now tasked with crafting the story for Visceral’s Star Wars game. Her work will supposedly “reboot a brand new Star Wars franchise” and will be “in the style of Uncharted.“
Could the game be similar to Star Wars 1313
, which was sadly cancelled when Disney purchased the Star Wars license? We sure hope so…
Shown briefly at E3 some years back, Star Wars 1313
featured gameplay that looked similar to Uncharted
. See for yourself...
North claims it’s not Star Wars 1313, but we got a strong feeling it will play similar.
Whatever Visceral has in store for gamers will likely be epic, especially if it’s anything like Uncharted 4
. Stay tuned to GameTribute for more news on the upcoming Star Wars game.
