Legend of Zelda Wii U

There is a very good reason why Nintendo delayed the release of The Legend of Zelda Wii U by a full year, and that’s because they want to give gamers the best game possible. The company wants to make sure the Link’s latest adventure delivers the goods before it is released.

In an interview with iDigitalTimes, Nintendo’s EVP of Sales and Marketing Scott Moffitt provided more clarification on why The Legend of Zelda Wii U was delayed, stating that it’s an important game that cannot be rushed. In his words, the video game giant is aiming for the “best Zelda experience.” Fans have been patiently waiting for the game, and there are efforts being made to give them “fully featured” addition to the well-respected franchise, one that lives up to their high expectations. No AAA Zelda game in history has received a poor rating... Can you blame Nintendo for putting quality above everything else? In a day and age where developers are releasing unfinished or buggy games that only succeed at angering gamers, the company is smart to wait. The last thing anyone wants is a repeat of the Batman: Arkham Knight, Assassin’s Creed Unity and Destiny debacles... The Legend of Zelda Wii U is set to release in 2016. There is no word on whether or not it will eventually be ported to the NX console. What do you hope to see in the new Zelda game?
