Guerrilla Games, the developer behind the Killzone series, is working on an impressive new game for the PlayStation 4 called Horizon Zero Dawn, and boy does it look amazing.
As the first intellectual property from Guerrilla Games since Killzone in 2004, Horizon Zero Dawn
is an action role-playing game set 1000 years from now in a post-apocalyptic world ruled by mechanized creatures, such as giant robotic dinosaurs. You take control of Aloy, a hunter and archer, as she and her primitive tribe try to survive by hunting the aforementioned creatures and scavenging their mechanical components for crafting new items.
Enemies can be killed in a variety of ways, such as setting traps, taking them from afar with bow and arrows, using explosives and engaging in melee combat. You can even take them down silently.
Like the Fallout 4
and the Elder Scrolls
games, Horizon Zero Dawn
has an open world with vast areas for you to explore, a dynamic day-night cycle and a weather system. Interestingly, Guerrilla Games says it has no loading screens, helping deliver an uninterrupted and truly immersive experience.

Very beautiful, isn't it, especially for a post-apocalyptic world? Very unlike Fallout 4
, right? Too bad its only for the PlayStation 4.
