A purported gameplay footage of Mass Effect Andromeda has found its way onto the interment, and despite being leaked on April Fools’ Day, it looks very legitimate.
Discovered by a NeoGAF user on “a website of a certain developer” currently working on the title, the short video if of an early, 2014 prototype of the game that shows the player character using a jetpack to get to places. We also get to see a heated confrontation with a Krogan and a meteorite explosion.
The HUD matches the one seen in an image posted by Bioware in November 2015 and adds more legitimacy to the clip.
EA removed the original video on the grounds of copyright infringement, but copies have since popped up all over the internet.
Mass Effect: Andromeda
will be fully revealed in E3 2016 and is expected to release in early 2017. Do you like what you see so far?
