Scary The Evil Within The Evil Within is one of the scariest and possibly most challenging games you will ever play, but can your PC handle its highly-detailed world and rich gameplay? Featured here are the recommended PC requirements that will help you answer that question. According to Bethesda, the recommended specifications must be satisfied in other to experience the game as they intended. A list of minimum requirements was not compiled, but it is advisable for those with a computer below the listed specs to have 4 GBs of VRAM for optimal performance. Without further ado, here are the recommended system requirements for The Evil Within:
  • 64-bit Windows 7 or Windows 8
  • i7 processor with four plus cores
  • 4 GB’s of RAM
  • 50 GB of hard drive space, though after installation the game will only take up 41 GB of HDD space
  • GeForce GTX 670 video card or equivalent with 4 GB’s of VRAM
  • High Speed Internet Connection
We won’t lie, the requirements are quite high, but keep in mind that you might be able to play the game on weaker hardware, although you probably wouldn't want to. Generally speaking, a PC with specs slightly below the requirements should be able to run the game at low or medium graphics settings. MUST SEE: Every Last Bullet Counts in The Evil Within By the looks of things, Bethesda doesn't want anyone playing its horror title on anything lower than its recommended system requirements, so consider upgrading your PC if need be. If you don't have a PC or don't want to go through the hassle of upgrading one, know that The Evil Within is also playable on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
