Grand Theft Auto V gang The PlayStation 4 version of Grand Theft Auto V runs in glorious 1080p and is described as the “the greatest game ever committed to Blu-Ray” by the Official PlayStation Magazine. Apparently, Grand Theft Auto V on the PS4 is the sandbox game you have “dreamt about ever since you slotted Sony’s angular baby under your TV,” featuring hugely-increased draw-distance, 100 new songs, fresh wild-life, a bumper version of GTA Online, and more. First released on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, Grand Theft Auto V is a third-person, action-adventure game set in Los Santos, San Andreas, a fictional city tearing itself apart with gang trouble, drugs and corruption. The main story requires players to complete a series of increasingly-difficult missions, although you can freely-roam the open-world at your leisure, with progression in the main story unlocking more gameplay content. You switch between the trio at will via a directional compass on the HUD, though there are a few instances where the game automatically does the switching in order to complete certain objectives. Grand Theft Auto V set industry sales records, becoming the fastest-selling entertainment product in history with earnings of $800 million (U.S.) in its first day of sale and US $1 billion in its first three days. The game was released on September 17, 2013, on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and is coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
