Destiny, The Dark Below FLC Activision and Bungie’s commercial darling Destiny has received a launch trailer for its latest DLC, The Dark Below. The online first-person shooter is in desperate need of more content, and fortunately, content is what The Dark Below is all about. The Dark Below enriches Destiny’s story with the introduction of a new character named Eris and a new enemy called The Hive. After years of hiding in the shadows amongst The Hive, Eris emerges from hiding with an ominous warning: The Hive seek to summon a god by the name of Crota, and destroy the Earth. Unsurprisingly, you are tasked with preventing this from happening. And to help you do so, The Dark Below comes with new weapons, armor, and gear. Moreover, it increases Destiny’s light level cap to 32, adds five additional bounty slots, and introduces a new co-operative strike called The Will of Crota. But wait, there’s more! Thanks to The Dark Below, Destiny also gains three new competitive multiplayer arenas, as well as a new six-player raid called Crota’s End. PlayStation users gain access to an exclusive cooperative strike and an “exotic” weapon. However, the game garnered decent reviews at best, with its story (or lack thereof) receiving the most criticism. DON'T MISS: Destiny 2 is Already Under Development Despite failing to live up to the hype, Destiny sold incredibly well and has gone down in history as one of the biggest debuts for a new franchise. It made more than $500 million on its first day of sale! Destiny is available on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Have you played, and if so, what you think about it?
