Less than two months after they were announced for Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS, seductress Bayonetta and Fire Emblem’s Corrin are now playable characters in Nintendo’s hectic fighting game.
Since the release of the game, the number of DLC characters has grown to include Mewtwo, Lucas, Roy, Street Fighter
’s Ryu, and Final Fantasy’s
Cloud. Fans have also received a number of new stages and Mii Fighter costumes.
Sadly, Bayonetta and Corrin mark the end of DLC characters for Smash 4
, at least with the Wii U and 3DS versions of the game. There are rumors that the upcoming Nintendo NX console will get its own version, possibly with new DLC.
Corrin can be downloaded as a standalone fighter for $4.99 on either the Wii U or 3DS or $5.99 on both platforms, while Bayonetta comes packaged with the Umbra Clock Tower stage for $5.99 for just one platform or $6.99 for both.
