Blizzard’s crusade to keep Hearthstone fair for all players and clean of cheaters has resulted in several thousand more bans. As with the Starcraft 2 and World of Warcraft, the company isn’t kidding around -- if your Hearthstone account is found gaming the system, it will be banned. Adding to its earlier bans, these accounts have been permanently terminated for the apparent use of “third-party programs that automate gameplay.” Botting is the term used to describe this unscrupulous practice, which many players have been using to level up and gain gold faster instead of actually playing the game. Fortunately, it’s seems a lot of the cheaters have come to their senses, with many stopping their botting ways. Hearthstone is growing in popularity and Blizzard wants to create a fun and fair environment for new and existing players.
