Are You Ready For A Netflix Diablo Animated Series?

The action role-playing hack and slash dungeon crawler is getting turned into an animated series.

As reported by sister site MovieTribute, Netflix is is making a TV series based on yet another video game franchise after the success of its Castlevania series, and it’s Diablo.

The Diablo franchise was created by Blizzard in 1996 and takes place in the Kingdom of Khanduras, where a lone hero fights to rid the world of the Lord of Terror,
Diablo. It was followed by Diablo II in 2000 and Diablo III in 2012, both of which were well received by players and critics alike.

Boom! Studios founder Andrew Cosby, who co-wrote the Hellboy film reboot and founder, will write and show-run the series. He is also credited for created the TV series Eureka, which ran for five seasons between 2006 and 2012.
