Far Cry Primal

Not sure if Far Cry Primal is the game for you? Well, here is the first hour of Ubisoft’s blockbuster, complete with cutscenes, that should help you make up your mind.

Far Cry Primal is one of the biggest games of 2016. Set in pre-historic times, when giant mammoths still roamed the earth, it is a departure from the previous Far Cry games and their modern settings. In other words, don’t expect to be shooting anything because there are no guns.

The one-hour gameplay, courtesy of YouTuber NukemDukem, takes you from the first cut-scene all the way to some early action. Watch it and let us know if it makes you want the game…

Far Cry Primal can be played on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

China Blocks Twitch Website And iOS App

You can no longer access the Twitch website and Twitch iOS app in China, at least legally.

Twitch has confirmed that the Chinese government has blocked all access to its platform in mainland China.

The development comes on the heel of the Twitch iOS app reaching the third spot in the iTunes free apps chart, with the surge of popularly mostly owed to eSports and especially the Asian Games.

Although the reason for the ban wasn’t revealed, the fact that Twitch was the only way for Chinese fans to follow the event was what likely made it a target for the Chinese government.

Twitch now joins a growing list of major websites to be blocked in the world’s video game market, a list that includes the likes of Google, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter.

Considering that some of the Steam Community features are also inaccessible in China, it probably won’t be long until the main Steam store is also banned.

Valve has been taking preemptive measures should it also meet the same fate, having partnered with a Chinese publisher to launch a localized version in the country.

New N7 Day Mass Effect Andromeda Trailer is Intense, See it

Published

The new N7 Day Mass Effect Andromeda trailer that fans have been impatiently waiting for is finally here, and it’s intense.

We get to see more scripted and in-game footage of the game world, as well as ‘brother’ Ryder, his alien crew and what appears to be the main villain in action. It might have also confirmed the existence of Salarians in Andromeda.

The Andromeda Initiative recruitment page has been updated to coincide with the trailer’s release. It shows the user’s login details with the year 2184… the year just before the events of Mass Effect 2.

The Andromeda Initiative is scheduled to launch in 2185, the year Commander Shepherd returns from the dead (the beginning of Mass Effect 2). Three Ark ships, each containing three different species in cryo stasis, will leave the Milkyway for the new galaxy, with plans to wake up the occupants 600 years later.

Judging by the trailer, things don’t go according to plan.

Mass Effect Andromeda launches for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC in Spring 2017. Are you excited for the new adventure?
