Street Fighter 5 Servers Crash at Launch, Can’t Play Online

Street Fighter 5, crazy necalli

The launch of Street Fighter 5 wasn’t as smooth as Capcom and Sony planned, with most gamers not being able play online as a result of the servers crashing from heavy demand.

The fighting game’s sub-Reddit, Steam forums and even Twitter, were all flooded within the first few hours after launch with players complaining about not being able to connect…

For those players that were lucky enough to get a connection, the server instability resulted in dropped matches and/or getting kicked out of survival rounds and being forced to restart from the beginning.

Capcom took the servers offline temporarily to fix the issues and managed to get more people playing online, but they are not completely out of the water.

Were you are affected by the server crash? If so, how did you feel?
