There is much to love about Killer Instinct Xbox One, but one major standout is its spectacular music. The man largely responsible for the soundtrack, Mick Gordon, is a musical genius that needs all the praise he can get. Thanks to him, the new Killer Instinct has the best fighting game music ever made.
Fans of the latest Killer Instinct can now buy the game’s soundtrack, plus the original arcade soundtrack from the first Killer Instinct, in MP3 format through Amazon, iTunes, Google Play and other outlets.
Priced at around $12 US, the double album set consists of 27 songs from Killer Instinct Season One and the original Killer Cuts soundtrack. In addition to Mick Gordon, the composers featured are Robin Beanland and Graeme Norgate (the masterminds behind Killer Cuts), with Ali Edwards and Fay Newborough contributing a few select songs.
If for some absurd reason you don’t want all the songs, they can be purchased individually for $1.29.
I sincerely believe that Killer Instinct Xbox One has the best fighting game music ever composed, with every single one of its songs charged with a level of emotion never before experienced in a fighting game. They are dynamic, catchy and get your adrenaline pumping.
My favorites are the game’s main theme “The Instinct”, Thunder’s stage music “Hinnamatoom”, Spinal’s stage music “Warlord”, and Jago’s “The Tiger Warrior.” Speaking of Thunder, just listen to his theme for a taste of what Killer Instinct has to offer:
Powerful, isn’t it? It’s so adrenaline-inducing that I bet you almost punched through a wall while listening to it. Spinal and Jago’s themes are nearly just as epic.
We can talk all day about how much we love Killer Instinct Xbox One’s soundtrack, but we want to hear what you think. 1) Will you be buying the soundtrack? 2) Which individual songs are your favorites? And 3) Do you agree with our bold claim that the new Killer Instinct has the best fighting game music ever composed? Let us know your answers by leaving a comment.
